Over 4 fun-filled days at this year's Sports Analytics Camp in Charlotte, 50 local high school students had the opportunity to talk with 10 sports professionals from various sports, teams, and leagues about the industry and the importance of sports analytics!

New York City was the stage for an unforgettable 2025 sports analytics summer camp, empowering underrepresented high school students on the prestigious campus of Columbia University. These future leaders explored the inner workings of the NFL and NBA, toured Citi Field, and experienced live data and STEM in action at a NY Red Bulls game. They heard from distinguished industry experts who helped shape their journey, proving once again that it takes a village to uplift and inspire the next generation.

Last year, summer 2025, we empowered close to 50 underrepresented high school students to explore the endless possibilities in sports analytics through our free camp at USC, brought to life by Strength in Numbers. This camp wasn’t just about data and STEM; it was about showing our youth that they belong in this space – where innovation and sports collide. Along with additional camps at Columbia University and UNC Charlotte, students in LA enjoyed behind-the-scenes tours of NFL TV Network and Dodger Stadium, while learning from experts at the LA Clippers, ESPN, and more. Seeing leaders who share their backgrounds showed them that no dream is too big.

10 college students out of 250 applicants from the Baltimore area were selected to do a one-month analytical project for the Baltimore Ravens Analytics Team. The best part? They were invited to present their project to the Ravens Headquarters. Students were paid a stipend for their hard work. Go BTS & check it out!

10 Bay Area college students from Stanford, San Jose State, Cal-Berkeley, Santa Clara & USF were selected to do a three-week analytical project for the Bay FC Analytics Team. They were later invited to present their project to Bay FC Headquarters at PayPal Park to the Bay FC Analytics Team & their coaching staff. Students were paid a stipend for their hard work. For the second straight year, the Detroit Lions partnered with Strength in Numbers to give underrepresented college students in the Detroit area an opportunity of a lifetime. Students were assigned a business analytics project & a player performance project. The students worked on these projects for 3 months before presenting to Lions executives at Ford Field. Congratulations to those college students for doing an exceptional job.
